The Glades Owners Association
2011 Organizational Meeting
February 27, 2011
The meeting was called to
order at 3:30 PM by past president, Gus Martell.
Newly elected directors
present were Gus Martell, Jerry Hall and Raymond Lake.
Absent were Bob Gilbert and Bob Henry for personal reasons.
OLD BUSINESS:
Gus Martell informed the
directors present that three constituted a quarum to vote on election of
officers for the new year. Voting
was unanimous for Gus Martell as President, Jerry Hall-Vice President, Bob
Gilbert-Secretary Raymond Lake-Director and Bob Henry-Director.
There was no other old business, so President Martell motioned we close.
Hall seconded-carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
President Martell recommended
we continue the Treasurers position the same as last year. He put in the form of
a motion that the Board appoint George McNitt once again to handle all aspects
of accounting for the Association. Lake seconded-carried.
The next order of business
was to appoint Standing Committees.
Jerry Hall offered to be the Environmental & Architectural Chairman.
Raymond Lake accepted the responsibility of Maintenance Chairman.
Tommy Easter agreed to continue as our City Liaison.
Bill and Connie Cocklin will handle Recreation. Remaining appointments
will be made in the near future.
President Martell asked if
there was any other new business.
There was none, so he asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Hall motioned we adjourn, Lake seconded-carried.
